This design is developed from N9-L5 . It has a little more luff curve and slightly more depth at the top section. You will have comfortable twist on the mainsail because of the depth at top, giving you a wider groove through pointing and speed modes. And it even works well in choppy conditions .

Athens Gold Medal Design!!

This design is the one optimized for Paul & Kevin in May 2004 and used to win gold in the Athens Game. It is a product of the latest advanced air flow analysis system. We brought many effective ideas to this mainsail through the development process. It has a slightly fuller top and flatter bottom compared to A9-R2+L4. The shape is smooth and balanced. Its performance was proven by Paul and Kevin through 3 months of testing before the Game.

N11-L9 (For Yamaha Black Mast)

This design is developed for the Yamaha Mast, which is stiffer than M7+ or Proctor, came out 2005 year.

Through collaboration with North Sails Japan, Yamaha has succeeded in building more consistent products with new characteristics. Extensive sail simulation in our MB program with the best design selected. It has a comfortable fit with the Yamaha mast to achieve the target design shape.

Especially in the light ? medium wind range you will have great performance, good balance in depth and ideal twist shape for effective power.

Thanks to the consistency of the mast-bend character, more useful tuning numbers are provided which enables you tune the boat quicker and easier.

Mainsail include:
Vision Window, Battens, Sail Numbers, Telltales, Insignia and Sail Bag. 

Customized Design for perfect fit

You can customize your North Radial as you want. This is one of the biggest advantage of North Radial. Customize will be done according to your mast bend profile, sailing weight, or target wind range. For more details, please ask to our sales manager, Kei Takakuwa.
