Newly developed progressive Design 2009

This is the new design for 2009 having slightly rounder entry with top twist profile. You can keep the top leech nicely open in all conditions. The upper leech is hard to trim tight, so pay attention not to trim too much.

In Beijin Olympics 70% of the sailors used this design. This is clearly shows how well this jib performs. We designed it for all round conditions which has slightly rounder entry, straighter exit, and is powerfull enough , and easy to trim, easy to stear. You need to give some wrinkles along the luff when you sail in flat water , and remove it when in choppy for the best performance.

Our current designs we have now is the S5-B4 design which has deeper entry and straighter exit which performs very good in especially choppy conditions in all wind conditions, and its makes the steering easy to keep the consistent speed through the waves; and the S13-B4 jib is the design which has a flatter entry with a nice top twist leech profile. It is the design good for the flat water. You can easily keep the gap between main and jib nicer. This new S14-B4 is the design which has the entry just in between the S5 and the S13. It also has the good top twist as well like S13-B4 jib. It works well in the regatta which you may have both off shore wind (flat water) and sea breeze or on-shore wind, which is usually choppy or swell. It also works for the sailor who likes to work on the rig tension in a breeze as well.
